Advocate Marcin AndrzejewskiMarcin Andrzejewski

He took university law studies in the years 2000-2005 at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Jagiellonian University. In 2005, he defended his master's thesis "The right to remuneration of authors and performers in the light of German and Polish Copyright Law", written under the direction of Prof. dr. hab. Elżbieta Traple with a very good grade and obtained master's degree in law.

Now he is a PhD student of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in the Department of Civil Law, his doctor’s thesis is "Collective copyright management of the property rights under the law of competition." He takes and successfully accomplishes projects and educational researches in the field of intellectual property rights. He is an author or co-author of important publications.

In the years 2005-2009 he was an attorney trainee at the District Attorney Council in Krakow at  Professor. dr hab. Jan Widacki Law Office. In 2009 he passed his attorney exam and in 2010 he was included on the list of lawyers of the District Attorney Association in Cracow.

Attorney Marcin Andrzejewski since 2009 has been a lecturer at School of Polish and European Law in Ukraine. He had scholarship under the Socrates / Erasmus Ernst - Moritz - Arndt - Univerisität Greifswald (2004/2005) and the scholarship SYLF - The Ryoischy Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund (2007/2008). He took part in the scientific research program at the Max-Planck-Institut für Geistiges Eigentum und Wettbewerbs Steuerrecht in Munich (2007/2008). He presented the results of his research work at scientific meetings of the Institute of Intellectual Property Law at the Jagiellonian University. Titles of his speeches are "Restrictions of freedom of contract principle at subject on the author's remuneration in Polish and German Copyright Act” (2006) and “Authors monopoly and the collective management organizations"(2008).
